It comes following reports Guardiola's side have been offered Paris Saint Germain full-back Layvin Kurzawa, and after ex-Ajax star Ronald de Boer said the club's current defender Jurrien Timber could move to Man City as well.

Ajax star linked
Dutch legend Ronald de Boer believes Ajax centre-back Jurrien Timber should move to Manchester City.
The 20-year-old has impressed for his club since breaking into the first-team last year and de Boer thinks he could one day play for City.
"I think Timber is really great. He plays so well," de Boer told Ziggo Sport’s Rondo [via Ajax Showtime ].
"He dominates and has peace on the ball. It is unprecedented. But would he, because he is 1.78 metres tall, also be able to play in the Premier League against Lukaku or another top striker?
"Will clubs go for that? It depends what kind of club you go to. I think he can join Manchester City like that. There he plays with a lot of space at his back."
PSG ace offered
Manchester City have been offered the chance to sign Paris Saint Germain full-back Layvin Kurzawa, it has been claimed.
The French defender has also been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Chelsea during this month's transfer window, but RTL France journalist Baptiste Durieux [via Sports Illustrated], reports he's been offered to City as well.
It is claimed Kurzawa would likely become an 'understudy', rather than first-choice at the Etihad.
Guardiola's 'wish' revealed
Manchester City 'want to throw the house out the window for Nico Gonzalez', it has been reported.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Gonzalez is Guardiola's wish 'because he can play in various positions in the midfield area and because he has the projection to be one of the best in his position'.
It is also claimed Gonzalez 'knows Guardiola's game plan' and would be a 'natural fit', while the young Spanish midfielder could also learn from his compatriot Rodri.
But, per the report, Gonzalez may set City back quite a bit of money due to the fact that his contract doesn't expire until 2024 and the club do not wish to sell him 'under any circumstances'.
