Man City 'slap price tag' on Gabriel Jesus and other transfer rumours

Manchester City will reportedly hold out for £40m if they decide to sell Gabriel Jesus.

The striker has been in immense form recently, scoring six goals in his last three outings. As a result, he could start against Real Madrid in their Champions League semi-final away leg on Wednesday.

Despite being in almost undroppable form, Jesus continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal. Mikel Arteta is on the hunt for attackers this summer with Alexandre Lacazette due to leave the Emirates following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s exit to Barcelona.

Now, the Mirror claims that City will only entertain offers of at least £40m for the attacker albeit they may be more ready to offload if Erling Haaland arrives at the Etihad. However, the player himself will only want to move to Arsenal if they manage to qualify for the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato says that City are interested in AC Milan winger Rafael Leao. The 22-year-old has scored 13 times and provided seven assists this season with his club vying for the Serie A title.

Milan are attempting to tie him down to a new deal worth around £3.8m per year but agent Jorge Mendes is holding out for a higher figure. This has given space for City to lodge an interest, though Milan have since slapped a £60m price tag on their player.
