Manchester City's James McAtee and Juan Larios have both received nominations for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for February.
The pair join the list of seven nominees which includes Fulham's Luke Harris and Sonny Hilton, Southampton's Luke Pearce, Crystal Palace's Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Manchester United's Shola Shoretire.
Larios is a Spanish left-back who moved to the City Football Academy from Barcelona's famous La Masia in the summer of 2020. Known for his attacking exploits, the 18-year-old has progressed through the ranks at City over the last couple of years - winning major silverware along the way.

In 2020/21, the Spaniard won the U18 title before moving up to join Brian Barry-Murphy's EDS side for the 2021/22 campaign. Now seen as a regular starter, Larios has made nine Premier League 2 appearances so far this season, notching one assist.
His nomination for the February award comes off the back of his impressive performances from left-back in City's last three fixtures, helping the Blues to three clean sheets. Their standout result of the month was a 5-0 thrashing of Derby County, a game where Larios secured his aforementioned assist.
The name James McAtee needs no introduction for City supporters. The 19-year-old recently penned a three-year contract extension with the club and is now a regular around Pep Guardiola's first-team squad.
He made his senior debut in a 6-1 win against Wycombe Wanderers in the Carabao Cup earlier this season. The youngster has since gone on to make his Premier League debut against Everton.
When he's not involved with the first team, McAtee maintains his fitness and form by playing for City's EDS side. Last month, the midfielder scored twice in the win against Derby, before scoring the first from the penalty spot in a 2-0 victory over West Ham United.
Having won this accolade already in August, it would not be unusual to see McAtee pick this award up once more. His clear blossoming talent is destined for first-team football, and it's something supporters will be hoping the affectionally named 'Salford Silva' will be doing at City.
