Manchester City are reportedly prepared to offer £76million for Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt.
That's according to Italian outlet Tutto Juve, who claim City are ready to table a mouth-watering offer for the 22-year-old defender. De Ligt is currently under contract until 2024, but his future is in some doubt with the Dutchman being linked with a move to Chelsea.
De Ligt has quickly established himself as one of the best young centre-backs in Europe after bursting onto the scene with Ajax in the 2018/19 season. With Nathan Ake potentially on his way out, Pep Guardiola may be tempted to bring in a defender this summer and De Ligt could be the man he's looking for.
