Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero has claimed Manchester United's Lisandro Martinez has proved his critics wrong this season.
United signed Martinez from Ajax for a fee of £46.8million, rising to £55.3m, on a five-year contract in the summer and his arrival at Old Trafford was a talking point in the media, with some suggesting he would not be tall enough for the Premier League.
Martinez, who stands at 5ft 9in, is the smallest centre-back in the division but that has not stopped him from excelling at the club. The Argentine has been a key figure this season, playing over 1500 minutes, and he's established himself as a fans' favourite.
