The latest Man City injury news will be music to their supporters’ ears with two key players set to return ahead of crucial games this week.
Pep Guardiola’s side face Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday before locking horns with rivals Manchester United on the weekend.
And two key players are set to make their return from injury in a huge boost for Man City.
Latest Man City Injury News: Mateo Kovacic And Phil Foden Return To Training
And ahead of two big games, Guardiola will be pleased to see Mateo Kovacic and Phil Foden return to training.
Persistent injuries have played a big part in City’s dreadful run of form. Rodri has been sidelined for the season after undergoing surgery on a serious knee injury earlier this season.
It was more bad news for City’s midfield when Kovacic picked up an injury while away on international duty with Croatia. The midfielder has not played football for City sine their 2-1 defeat by Brighton on November 9.

Meanwhile, Foden hasn’t featured for City since their damning 2-0 defeat by Liverpool at the beginning of December. The City star was struck down with bronchitis, ruling him out of the Nottingham Forest and Palace clashes.
But now both appear to be on track to face Juventus or United later on Sunday. The duo were both seen training with the rest of the City squad on Tuesday in a timely boost for Guardiola.
Two Big Tests Await City
City are looking to get back to winning ways in Turin when they face Juventus.
The English side dropped points against Feyenoord last time out despite boasting a 3-0 lead late on in the game. That came after they were thrashed 4-1 by Sporting Lisbon, which leaves them 17th in the league phase. A win will get their Champions League campaign back on track but the Italian giants will be no rollover.
A win in Italy will give City the confidence heading into a huge Manchester derby on the weekend.
One win in nine games in all competitions has been a slump like no other for Guardiola in his career. But two big wins could see them put a run of form together with many stars available for selection again.
Pep Guardiola will still be without Oscar Bobb for this week’s double header, while John Stones, Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji are doubts.
