Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was reunited with club legend David Silva last week after the Real Sociedad midfielder visited his old side following the LaLiga club's Europa League victory over Manchester United.
Silva started in the Spanish outfit's victory over Erik ten Hag's side at Old Trafford last Thursday, with Sociedad securing a 1-0 win on matchday one of their European campaign.
Following the match, City revealed that Silva and the rest of his Sociedad teammates trained at the City Football Academy after the game - which provided the 36-year-old with an opportunity to link-up with a few familiar faces.

After taking some time to look at the mosaic and statue to commemorate his service to the club, Silva met up with current City defender John Stones. The pair had a brief exchange at the training ground, before Silva reunited with a number of the club's coaching staff, as well as Txiki Begiristain and Guardiola.
However, it was the exchange between Silva and Guardiola that City supporters will have enjoyed the most, with the duo making a subtle joke at United's expense.
"I wasn't sure you were going to come by," Guardiola said, before the pair shared a laugh at United's expense following the result just hours prior.
Guardiola continued: "Winning at Old Trafford again? Winning at Old Trafford again?!"
Silva responded: "Yeah, another one!"
Real Sociedad's victory over United meant that Silva has now won seven times at Old Trafford in his career - the most victories by a visiting player in the period since he played there for the first time (February 2011).
In a heartwarming moment between the pair, Silva then revealed the birth of his second child. Guardiola asked: "Everything ok?"
To which Silva responded: "All good, yes..."
"Fine (with the little one). And now we've just had a girl, just this Sunday."
A shocked Guardiola replied: "Ah, I didn't know! That's great! A little friend for them!"
Silva posted two pictures on his Instagram account of his visit to City's training ground, with the Spaniard posing next to his mosaic and statue.
