Manchester City have been told they hold a 'slight advantage' on Liverpool in the goalkeeping department.
Battling for Premier League supremacy throughout the last few seasons, there are many subplots to that rivalry - and none so more prevalent than between the posts.
Ederson and Alisson are regarded as two of the best stoppers on the planet right now - let alone in England.
Beyond competing in the club arena, they remain one and two for the Brazil national team, as well, although that pecking order has chopped and changed over the last 12 months.
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson holds the edge in that regard with 51 caps compared to the 17 won by Ederson.
However, it was the City number one who was handed the gloves at Copa America last summer - only to see his contemporary strap them on in five of the seven World Cup qualifiers that have followed since.
So who ought to hold the ascendancy when it comes to senior internationals?
Speaking about their ongoing rivalry between the posts, former Premier League and Brazil goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes said: "We're talking about two exceptional players.
"Ederson is perhaps, let's say, more complete - just because of his stunning ability with his feet.

"Alisson knows how to use them, that's for sure, but Ederson has impressive power and precision on long passes."
During an interview with FourFourTwo magazine, he added: "He doesn't only give short ones.
"He's capable of finding the number nine. We see that happening every now and again. As they are both equally amazing at saving goals, Ederson's skill with his feet gives him a slight advantage in my opinion."
