Manchester City are reportedly keen on a move for Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell.
In the January transfer window, Pep Guardiola allowed Joao Cancelo to join Bayern Munich on loan as the Portuguese full-back looked for regular action. That decision left the Blues with Nathan Ake and Sergio Gomez as options to play on the left side of defence.
Rico Lewis has featured in that role but, according to The Athletic, City have reignited interest in Chilwell now the England international has returned from injury. The 26-year-old missed out on the World Cup and domestic action between November and January due to a hamstring problem.

His performances in recent weeks have led to him regaining his place in the Blues' squad and Guardiola is thought to be convinced that the former Leicester City man is worthy of being targeted in the summer.
Elsewhere, it is understood that City captain Ilkay Gundogan has yet to make a decision on whether to sign a new contract at the Etihad. According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, the midfielder is weighing up his options and no deadline has been set for him to make his decision on his contract.
The report adds that Gundogan is likely to consult his family heavily before making the final decision on a new deal. The 32-year-old's contract in Manchester expires in the summer and recent reports have suggested that Barcelona are keen on making the German a permanent replacement for Sergio Busquets.
