Man City fan Liam Broady draws Jack Grealish comparisons with Wimbledon celebration

Breakout Wimbledon star and boyhood Manchester City fan, Liam Broady once again copied Jack Grealish's celebration after knocking Casper Ruud out of the tournament.

Broady, from Stockport, defeated number four seed Ruud on Thursday in the biggest shock of the tournament so far. The Brit had never beaten a player ranked 10 or lower in the world before.

He completed a remarkable five-set victory, coming from two sets to one down to execute a fantastic comeback. Broady took the final set 6-0 as the momentum from the home crowd guided him through.

Upon sealing his place in the third round of Wimbledon, Broady put his fingers in his ears, just like Grealish. The tennis player is a Man City fan and friends with the England international.

Last year, Broady did the same thing after reaching the same round last year. When asked to explain, he said: "It's the Jack Grealish celebration, isn't it? I just like Jack Grealish," he laughed when asked about the choice of celebration in his post-match interview.

In response to the clip, Grealish tweeted a message of support, writing: "What a guy! Can’t wait for tomorrow!! You got all our support bro!! Cammmmmm on sannnn"

On his home debut for City, Grealish flicked in his first goal at the back post against Norwich City and ran towards the corner flag before sticking a finger in each ear. It's a gesture that's meant to signal Grealish 'blocking out the noise' from fans and pundits alike commenting on his big-money move to the Etihad.
