Manchester City duo Callum Doyle and Liam Delap have been included in the England Under-19s squad for the UEFA Under-19s European Championship in Slovakia.
Doyle, who spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Sunderland, played a key role in helping the Three Lions reach the tournament, while Delap also made two appearances, and they will now be hoping to help Ian Foster's side in pursuit of glory. The tournament got under way on Saturday and England play their first match on Sunday evening against Austria.
Doyle, who helped Sunderland earn promotion via the League One play-off final last term, has earned nine caps for the Under-19s to date, five of which came during the Three Lions' qualifying campaign. He started four times, helping England beat Sweden, the Republic of Ireland and Portugal, while also starting a goalless draw with Switzerland.

Striker Delap, who is being heavily linked with a loan exit from the Etihad Stadium this summer to bolster his development, has only ever represented England's Under-19s on two occasions and is still searching for his first international goal at this level. He made just 15 appearances for City at all age levels across the duration of the 2021/22 campaign because of injury issues.
Despite that, he still racked up 15 goals, eight of which came in the Premier League 2 in just ten matches. He is considered one of the most promising strikers in his age bracket.
England, who will have ambitions of going deep into the tournament, are one of just eight nations competing at the tournament and have been joined in Group B by Austria, Isreal and Serbia. After facing Austria on Sunday evening, the Three Lions will lock horns with Serbia on Wednesday evening and then Israel on Saturday evening. All three matches kick-off at 7:00pm BST and will be screened live on BBC iPlayer.
