Here are your Manchester City evening headlines for Wednesday, June 29.
City could complete transfer window first under Sheikh Mansour
It’s already been a busy summer for City in the transfer market, having completed the signing of Erling Haaland and with Kalvin Phillips seemingly on his way to the Etihad. And as pre-season draws into view, we could be about to see a string of departures.
Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling are the biggest names being touted to leave the Etihad. The former looks set to join Arsenal, with the Gunners reported to have agreed terms with Jesus, while Sterling is being heavily linked with a move to Chelsea.

Should both of those deals go through, City could be looking at an unprecedented transfer window. The Blues could end up signing all of their targets, and still ending up in profit.
Youngsters set to sign for Burnley following Kompany interest
It was always likely Burnley would be linked with some City players following the appointment of Vincent Kompany as manager. And it seems the former Blues captain is set to land a couple of City’s youngsters.
Taylor Harwood-Bellis and CJ Egan-Riley are both set to make the move to Turf Moor this week. For the former, it’s a reunion with Kompany, having played under him at Anderlecht.
Harwood-Bellis will join on loan, but for Egan-Riley, it’ll be a permanent move to Burnley. The 19-year-old’s contract expires tomorrow, with the two clubs coming to an agreement in order to avoid a tribunal.
