Manchester City are reportedly mulling over a bid for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The 18-year-old has been linked with a move to the Etihad and rivals Manchester United for several months amid another impressive season in Germany. Dortmund are adamant that the teenager will not be sold this summer, although if an overwhelming bid comes in, it is said the Bundesliga club could give way.
Fichajes claims that City are pondering whether to launch a mega-money bid for Bellingham this summer, despite the youngster being happy to stay at Dortmund for another year. Any buyout would have to be seismic due to his contract, which ends in 2025, given his young age and clear quality.

Bellingham further bumped up his net worth during the international break with a great performance in England's friendly against the Ivory Coast last month. He’s tipped to be on the plane to Qatar for this winter’s World Cup.
The youngster has provided 13 assists for his club this season and scored six of his own. He will likely move on for substantially more than the £25m Dortmund paid Birmingham in 2020.
Meanwhile, City have held informal discussions with Sporting Lisbon midfielder Matheus Nunes, according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola (via Sport Witness ). They say the 23-year-old refused a move to Newcastle in January and isn’t keen on current pursuers Wolves either.
Sporting are holding out for at least €40m (£33m) but the reported good relationship between City and Sporting could see a deal get over the line this summer. Nunes played in the 5-0 loss to Pep Guardiola’s men in their last-16 Champions League tie earlier this year.
After the match, Guardiola labelled Nunes 'one of the best players in the world today'. It has since been reported that Nunes has revealed his 'dream' of playing under the Catalan coach.
