Manchester City will take on Japanese champions Yokohama F. Marinos and Bayern Munich in Tokyo as part of their pre-season fixture schedule in July.
The exhibition against Yokohama will take place on July 23 before playing Bayern three days later on July 26, with both matches being staged at the Japan National Stadium. The club had already announced that they would be facing Atletico Madrid in Seoul, South Korea on July 30.
The three friendlies complete their pre-season fixture list ahead of the start of the Premier League on August 12. City faced Yokohama during their 2019 visit to Asia, winning 3-1 with Kevin De Bruyne on the scoresheet.

The Blues will play them again over the summer in the 30th anniversary year of the J-League. City’s most recent encounter with Bayern came last month, the Blues triumphing 4-1 on aggregate in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Speaking about the latest two friendly announcements, Esteve Calzada, Chief Commercial Officer at City Football Group, said: “We are delighted to announce further details of this year’s preseason tour to Asia, completing our full schedule for the trip with two fixtures against Yokohama F. Marinos and FC Bayern Munich in Tokyo.
“The club has previously enjoyed trips to Japan, most recently in 2019, and our presence in the country has continued to grow in recent years. Our Asia tour to Japan and Korea is exciting as we look to collaborate with our partners within the region to bring exciting activations to our fanbase in the countries.”
Yoshikazu Nonomura, Chairman of J.League, said: “In this, the 30th anniversary year of the J.League, we are delighted to announce that we will be hosting two spectacular matches, welcoming two top-tier European clubs, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
“I expect Yokohama F. Marinos, one of the most successful clubs in J.League, having won the J.League opening match in 1993 and five league titles including last year's league championship, to show us a great game with their own attacking football against Manchester City that has shown the most remarkable growth in recent decades in English Premier League.
"I am confident that the voices and enthusiasm of the supporters filling the stadium will make for great matches.”
