England Women have progressed from their group at Euro 2022 with a sensational victory over Norway - and the Manchester flag was proudly waved during that result at the Amex Stadium.
After opening up their Group A charge with a narrow win against Austria - here at Old Trafford - the Lionesses put shell-shocked Norway to the sword with a clinical display of finishing on the south coast.
Arsenal forward Beth Mead led the way for England by scoring a hat-trick on Monday night. However, other stars from Women's Super League (WSL) neighbours Manchester City and Manchester United played their part in what was a simply fantastic 8-0 sweep from the hosts.

The result means they top Group A after two games with rock-bottom Northern Ireland to come in their last game before the knock-out stages. England have now qualified, with Austria and Norway - both on three points - meeting next up in what will be a straight shootout to join Sarina Wiegman and her rampant team in the last eight.
England went ahead on 12 minutes when Bayern Munich and former City player Georgia Stanway put them ahead from the penalty spot. Her opener was followed up by five more goals before the half-time whistle sounded as the Lionesses made light work of their second group opponents.
City duo Lauren Hemp and Ellen White (2) got in on the act before Mead grabbed the first two of her three. Mead rounded off the scoring with England's eighth to pick up the match ball - that after United player Alessia Russo had come off the bench to make her mark.
Austria were 2-0 winners against Northern Ireland in the other match to take place on Monday night. England play the latter on Friday night at 8pm with progression already confirmed.
