Manchester City have reportedly added Sporting midfielder Matheus Nunes to the list of players they want to sign this summer.
Nunes, 23, has made 42 appearances for the Portuguese side this season, including six in the Champions League. The youngster has notched three goals and five assists in all competitions, playing a key role in his team's title charge.
According to Record, Pep Guardiola believes the Portugal international could play as either a six or an eight at the Etihad Stadium. Nunes has a €60m (£50m) release clause in his contract and Sporting are understood to want close to that amount if they're to agree to a deal. The report adds that Sporting are open to the idea of any interested parties paying some of the fee in bonus-related instalments.

One thing that may work in City's favour is that Sporting are understood to be keen to secure a permanent deal for Pedro Porro. According to Record, Sporting are hoping to land the City loanee for as little as €8.5m (£7.1m) when his temporary switch from the Etihad expires in the summer.
Porro has impressed in Lisbon, scoring four goals and grabbing seven assists in 28 games this season The report adds that Sporting believe Porro would be 'surplus to requirements at the Etihad next season' if he were to move back to Manchester.

City are understood to be trying to insert a €20m (£16.7m) buyback clause into any deal. The topic was apparently discussed by officials from both clubs recently when discussing the youngster's future.
