A man has been charged with the murder of Reece Newcombe on Richmond Bridge, while police have made a second arrest.
Ross Hamilton, 32, from Isleworth, west London, was due to appear before Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
He is also charged with common assault in connection with the incident which led to the of death Mr Newcombe, 31.
Police were called about 4am on Saturday to a fight on Richmond Bridge. Mr Newcombe from Egham, Surrey, was found at the scene with critical injuries. The father of one died later that morning in hospital.
A second male, aged 28, was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of murder. He was taken to a west London police station where he was later bailed to return on a date in early January 2023.
