Merseyside Police today confirmed that Thomas Cashman, a 34-year-old man from Grenadier Drive, West Derby in Liverpool, has since been charged with the murder of Olivia.
He also faces two counts of attempted murder and two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
A second man, Paul Russell, 40, from Snowberry Road, West Derby, Liverpool, has been charged with assisting an offender and both men are due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 3.
Olivia’s funeral was held earlier this month, and featured pink ties, jackets, scarves, and bows worn by those attending the service after her family asked people to wear a "splash of pink".
Ms. Korbel held onto a pink teddy bear during the service, during which she said: "Liv touched so many people's hearts and was loved and adored by everyone. She will never be forgotten.
"I will never say goodbye but what I will say is goodnight, love you, see you in the morning."
