- A 26-year-old boxer , Sharif Ahmadzai, has appeared in an Athens court accused of killing Scottish aid worker Elisabeth-Jane Ross.
- Ms Ross's body, 38, was discovered in a suitcase in a derelict building in the Kypseli area of the Greek capital on 18 July.
- Ahmadzai faces charges of homicide with intent and allegedly stealing over 10,000 euros from Ms Ross's bank accounts using her cards.
- Greek officials state Ahmadzai admitted moving the body but denies the homicide allegations, which are equivalent to murder in Scotland.
- The suspect is also accused of sending messages from Ms Ross's phone to her contacts and then impersonating a jihadist to her friends after buying a new phone.
