A man has been charged after allegedly aiming a gun at two women during a road rage incident in a shopping centre car park.
Police were told at the scene about 5.40pm on Tuesday that a man had threatened the women, aged 22 and 47, with a gun as the incident unfolded at the Glendale City Centre complex on Stockland Drive.
Officers made inquiries and later stopped a car leaving a Teralba property.
A search allegedly uncovered two tasers, a baton, three slingshots, a knife and a gel-blaster gun, police said in a statement.
The 26-year-old driver was arrested and taken to Toronto police station where he was charged with possession of an unregistered firearm, five counts of possessing prohibited weapons, stalking and intimidation, and being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Officers refused bail. The man has been remanded until he faces Bail Court on Wednesday, August 5.
