A man has been charged over an alleged attempt to abduct a teenage girl in Glasgow on Wednesday night.
The 32-year-old man is accused of trying to pursue the 14-year-old female into a vehicle, alongside another man, on June 22 in Harvie Avenue, Newton Mearns.
Cops confirmed the man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, June 27.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged by officers in Glasgow.
"It follows an incident on Wednesday, 22 June, 2022 in Harvie Avenue, Newton Mearns where efforts were made by two men to persuade a 14-year-old girl into a vehicle.
"The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 27 June 2022 and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
