A judge ruled Monday that the man accused of killing actor James Handy is not mentally competent to face criminal proceedings, putting the murder case on hold as he undergoes further evaluation and treatment.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Maria Cavalluzzi determined that Michael Gledhill, 44, does not currently understand the charges against him and cannot properly assist his attorney in building a defense.
