A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fire at a Scottish property.
Emergency services raced to Chalmers Street in Dunfermline, just after 10pm on Wednesday. Reports of a fire in the communal area of a property had been made.
One man was treated by paramedics at the scene for smoke inhalation, reports the Daily Record.

Police have now confirmed a 36-year-old man has arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, June 12.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fire on Chalmers Street, Dunfermline, which took place around 10.10pm on Wednesday, 7 June, 2023.
"He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, 12 June, 2023."
