A man wanted in Texas has been charged in connection with a carjacking and killing of a 70-year-old man in Georgia, as confirmed by officials. The suspect, Jaylen Mosley, 19, who has warrants out for his arrest in Harris County, Texas, stands accused of shooting and killing the elderly man on a Saturday night while allegedly attempting to steal his car.
The victim was discovered by Atlanta Police in the commercial area of the 2100 block of Metropolitan Parkway at 6:40 p.m. He was swiftly transported to a local hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Following the incident, police promptly apprehended Mosley. He has since been charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, armed robbery, and hijacking a motor vehicle in Georgia. The suspect is currently being held in custody at the Fulton County Jail.
