A man has been charged after a woman was rushed to hospital following a three-car crash in Fife.

The incident took place at around 8.30am on Tuesday, January 10 at the junction of the A919 Station Road at St Bunyan's Place in Leuchars.

Emergency services, including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, raced to the scene and the lady was blue-lighted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment. Her age and current condition is not yet known.

Officers have now confirmed that a 27-year-old man has been charged in relation with a road traffic offence. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
