A man who was attacked in Bristol city centre "can't remember anything" following the incident, police have said. Officers from Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the assault in the city to get in touch.
The incident is reported to have taken place on June 1 between 12.10am and 12.40am. The victim, a man in his 50s, was left with a swollen eye socked following the assault.
He left the Greenhouse, at College Green, at around 12.10am and police say he cannot remember anything until he was later found by member of the public outside Bristol Hippodrome. The victim attended hospital and is now recovering at home.

Police are now appealing for information. A police statement said: "If you were in the city centre and remember seeing an altercation between College Green and the Hippodrome, or have any other information, please contact us."
