A man in the US bought 20 tickets for a single lottery drawing and won 20 times, landing a total prize of $100,000. The Virginia Lottery said Fekru Hirpo of Virginia bought 20 tickets for the 8 Pick 4 draw with the number combination 2-5-2-7 when he visited the Four Mile Run Shell station on South Four Mile Run Drive in Arlington. He told UPI he doesn’t usually buy large amounts of identical tickets for Pick 4, but he had a strong feeling about that particular draw.
Southern fried chicken Easter egg launched
A Southern fried chicken-flavoured Easter egg has been launched, reported the Daily Star. The paper said the “somewhat baffling treat” is available in cities across the UK from today via the Deliveroo app. The delivery company said the unique product “packs a punch” and is said to provide “the ultimate harmony” of savoury and sweet flavours. “Love fried chicken? Love chocolate? Then put your hands together,” said Aisha Jefferson at Deliveroo.
Cat disrupts imam’s prayer
A broadcast has captured the moment a cat jumped on an imam, who was leading a nightly Ramadan prayer in Bordj Bou Arreridj, Algeria. Imam Walid Mehsas was performing Taraweeh, a nightly prayer occurring every evening during the month of Ramadan, when the cat jumped on him and climbed on his shoulders. In 2020, a tabby cat named Tiger interrupted the then-Dean of Canterbury Robert Willis’ morning sermon to sip some milk from a jug, remembered MSN.
