Man behind bars after homemade shotgun shooting arrest

A man accused of shooting a property owner with a homemade shotgun after being confronted under a house will remain behind bars after his arrest in bushland.

Jason Ian Beath, 57, was not required to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday following his arrest at Tallebudgera Valley, southwest of the Gold Coast, at 10.15am on Sunday.
