Police have launched an enquiry after a man was attacked by an alleged fellow Celtic supporter during this week's Champions League match.
The Hoops hosted the Ukrainian side on Tuesday and it ended in a 1-1 draw for Ange Postecoglou's side as their competitive European endeavours for the season came to an end ahead of facing Real Madrid next week. Social media posts allege the fan was attacked inside the stadium after the final whistle had gone at Parkhead.
As reported by the Scottish Sun, it is claimed the man was alone at the match and he had to spend the night in hospital alone to wait for an X-ray. The Celtic supporter allegedly suffered a broken cheekbone and a black eye and was waiting to see if he needed surgery following the supposed incident inside his club's home stadium.

Police have confirmed they were investigating the assault of a man at Parkhead but had no further details amid ongoing enquires.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Enquiries are continuing into the assault of a man at Celtic Park on Tuesday, 25 October 2022. No further details at this time."
Giorgos Giakoumakis put Celtic ahead in this one but their chances of Europa League football after Christmas were squashed by Mykhaylo Mudryk's second half goal.
