A man asked a popular Manchester restaurant to write 'will you marry me?' inside a pizza box in a proposal to his girlfriend. The request came through via an Uber Eats order to Noi Quattro, in the Northern Quarter on Wednesday night (October 19).
After plucking up the courage to propose to his girlfriend, the man placed the order for three pizzas online and made sure to make his romantic request in the comments box.
The pizzeria, on High Street, has since said that they have 'never' had anyone ask them to write request like it before and still do not know if the proposal was accepted. They added they would like the couple to get back in touch and to offer them a free pizza in their new restaurant.

Getting ready to pop the question, the man opted for a Pomodorino and Bufala pizza, along with a Focaccia All’aglio and a classic Margherita, before writing in the notes section: “Can you please write <will you marry me?> in the Bufala pizza box? I’m proposing to her today" followed by a love heart-eyed emoji.
The restaurant shared a picture of the order receipt on social media, along with a picture of one of the chefs holding the open box with a smile. Inside, they had used a pen to write 'Will you marry me?' on the inside of the box along with love hearts. The pizzeria captioned the pictures "well, how can you say no?"
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News , the restaurant said: "They ordered the food via Uber and once we received the check, we noticed the note section. We’re still waiting to know if she said yes, but the check only has the name of the Uber account, and we don’t have any other details.
"We have never had a request like it before, this was the first time. If the couple would get in touch with us, we would really like to tell them that they’re invited for a free pizza in our new restaurant."
