A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder after a fatal shooting in Bridgewater, in Hobart's north.
Tasmania Police were called to a house at Douglas Drive in Bridgewater at 1am on Monday where they found a 32-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The man, who was later identified as local man Tye Silver, died shortly after police arrived.
Police said a 23-year-old man had been charged over the killing and remanded in custody.
He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.
Another man who was taken into custody has been charged with unrelated firearms offences and a woman was released without charge.
