Man arrested on suspicion of murdering Ashley Dale bailed

A man has been conditionally bailed after being arrested on suspicion of murdering Ashley Dale.

The 28-year-old, Knowsley Council worker, was shot dead in her own home on Sunday, August 21. Police have confirmed that they believe Ashley Dale was not the intended target of the attack, on Leinster Road, Old Swan.

Detectives investigating the murder, yesterday revealed they'd made a third arrested in connection with the murder. They arrested a 27-year-old man, from Dovecot, on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm.
