Man arrested in Vizag for raping minor girl

VISAKHAPATNAM: PM Palem police in Vizag arrested a 31-year-old for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl. Police said the accused had first lured the minor girl and later threatened her.

A few days ago, the girl went to the accused’s house to wish him on his birthday.

The accused allegedly raped the girl that night. The girl narrated the episode to her parents.

Based on a complaint from the victim’s family, police arrested the accused on Friday night.
