A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged stabbing in Dundee.
The development comes after we reported how a 29-year-old male was rushed to Ninewells Hospital with 'serious injuries' last night.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon at around 4pm in Helmsdale Avenue.
Officers raced to the scene this as locals reported seeing police cordons at the scene.
Forensics' officers and photographers were also spotted gathering evidence on the street.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said today: “A 44-year-old man has been arrested on connection with a serious assault on Helmsdale Avenue, Dundee around 4.10pm on Thursday, 26 May 2022.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
