A man allegedly murdered 46-year-old Kylee McHugh before setting fire to her Belconnen apartment to "conceal" the crime, a court has heard.

Jack Henry Curtin, 27, faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday, September 8, and did not enter pleas to charges of murder and arson.
