A man has been arrested after reportedly being almost seven times over the drink driving limit while travelling to Falkirk.
The 29-year-old was cuffed after police were called to reports of a red Vauxhall Corsa driving dangerously on the M80 between Glasgow and Haggs at around 3pm on Sunday May 8.
Forth Valley Road Police managed to track down the vehicle and registered a sample of 6.7 times over the legal limit.
He was arrested and will appear at court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson shared the news of arrest on Twitter at 6.13pm that day and wrote:
"Thanks to the public for reporting a red Vauxhall Corsa driving dangerously on the #M80 between Glasgow and Haggs earlier today.
"Forth Valley Road Police traced the vehicle; a 29 year old male was arrested for drink driving and will appear at court at a later date."
