A man has been arrested following a protest that happened this evening in the city.
The incident happened in the Dublin 5 area, when protesters flocked to the area. Some traffic delays were reported during the protest with members of An Garda Siochana attending the scene, and the protest eventually dispersed.
One man has since been arrested for public order offences, and is currently detained in a garda station in north Dublin.

A garda spokeswoman confirmed to Dublin Live: "An Garda Síochána policed a protest that took place in the Dublin 5 area this evening, Wednesday, 22nd March 2023.
"One male was arrested for public order offences and is currently detained in a Garda station in North Dublin."
