On Tuesday, a man was arrested at the US Capitol Visitor Center after security officers detected suspicious items in his possession. According to the US Capitol Police, the man was found to be carrying a flare gun, a torch, and two containers that emitted a strong smell of gasoline.
The incident occurred during a routine security screening at the Capitol Visitor Center. Upon discovering the flare gun and torch, officers immediately took the man into custody. Additionally, the man had a notebook in his possession, which he claimed he wanted to deliver to Congress.
