Gardai arrested a man after discovering a large sum of money hidden in a car.
Officers stopped the vehicle on Lombard Street East, Dublin 2 at around 12.45pm on Thursday.
During the course of the search, they found a whopping €250,000 in cash concealed in the car.
The man, 30s, was arrested and brought to Pearse Street Garda station where he is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
