A man has been arrested after residents in a Falkirk village complaining of an allegedly "inconsiderate" and "reckless" driver.
Maddiston locals took to social media to tell of an 'engine being revved' at various locations and times during the early hours of this morning, March 15.
Taking to Facebook, one person said: "I got woken up at 3:50am, 4:10am and 5:10am and came back round at 6:10am."
Another wrote: "Aye, woke me up about 4. Inconsiderate and reckless."
Police were called to the James Wilson Drive scene after receiving reports of noise complaints as well as an unrelated concern for a man in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We can confirm that reports were received regarding noise complaints and concern for a man in the James Wilson Drive area of Maddiston, Falkirk, on the morning of Tuesday, 15 March.
"Enquiries were carried out and the man was traced safe and well.
"As part of officers’ enquiries, we can confirm that a second man, aged 36, has been arrested in connection with an unrelated matter."
