Man arrested after allegedly assaulting former partner at a cemetery, trying to drag her to car

A 27-year-old man was arrested by police after he allegedly assaulted his former partner at a cemetery in Canberra on Sunday and attempted to drag her into his vehicle.

He was caught in Casey the following day after police tracked the stolen vehicle he was driving.
