A man was airlifted to Aintree Hospital with serious injuries after coming off his bike.
Lancashire Police were called to a report of the incident on Alma Hill in Upholland, Skelmersdale, at around midday on Saturday, January 22.
A 60-year-old cyclist, from Wigan, was riding an Obsydian ARX Pro bike when he fell, leaving him seriously injured.

He was taken by air ambulance to Aintree Hospital for treatment of serious head injuries and lower leg fractures.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and urging anyone with information to come forward.
A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Upholland where a cyclist suffered serious injuries.
"Around midday on Saturday (January 22) police were called to a report of an accident in Alma Hill.
"A 60-year-old man from Wigan riding an Obsydian ARX Pro bike had fallen, suffering serious head injuries and lower leg fractures.
"He was taken by Air Ambulance to Aintree Hospital for treatment.
"Police are appealing for witnesses and urging anyone with information to come forward.
