A man has admitted murdering his partner in their Perth home before robbing a service station and crashing his ute.

Steven James Alan Dean, 37, pleaded guilty in Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Emmerich Lasakar, aged 35, was found seriously injured by police at the Kewdale home in Perth's east on April 17 and died at Royal Perth Hospital.

Dean also pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated armed robbery, aggravated home burglary and reckless driving, with offences allegedly committed on the same day.

The armed robbery charge allegedly relates to an incident at a service station in nearby East Victoria Park.

Police arrested Dean after a dual-cab utility he was driving was involved in a serious crash in St James.

He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to reappear for mention in the same court on August 28.
