An older man has been accused of groping a young person at Majura Park, police say.
Earlier this month, an unidentified man allegedly grabbed a minor and touched them inappropriately inside the Majura Park Shopping Centre.
The incident involving the minor is said to have happened about 11.45am on Saturday, October 12.
An ACT Policing spokeswoman said they released a face-fit image of the alleged perpetrator so the public could assist in identifying him.
The man accused of inappropriate contact is said to be Caucasian in appearance, about 170-175 cm tall, with grey hair and a grey beard
Police say he wore a grey checkered shirt and an off-white baseball cap with red font on the front at the time of the alleged incident.
The face fit image was developed by a facial identification team with the help of witnesses.
The image is intended to convey individual features of the man's face and not the full face.
"Police would urge the man depicted in the face-fit to present himself to the nearest police station," the spokeswoman said.
Anyone who recognised the man, or had information that could help police, was asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or the Crime Stoppers ACT website. They are requested to quote reference number 7873297. Police said information can be provided anonymously.
