An Irishman aged in his 80s has told how his house was raided by up to 10 armed gardai while he was out for a walk in Cavan.
Jude McGovern, an 88-year-old retired NYPD cop who lives in Swanlinbar, County Cavan, is featured in the New York Post telling how his house was swarmed by gardai.
Officers had been given a warrant to search the house based on suspicions there was a decommissioned revolver in his home.
