Man, 78, hospitalised after early morning incident in Glasgow

A 78-YEAR-OLD man was rushed to hospital following an early morning incident in Glasgow.

Earlier this morning, we reported that two people, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital after a disturbance closed part of Argyle Street.

Now, police have revealed that they were called to a property on Blantyre Street shortly after 1am this morning, following reports of a 48- and 49-year-old being inured.

The pair, along with a 78-year-old man, were all taken to hospital.

A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Argyle Street is still closed between Bunhouse Road and Sauchiehall Street and drivers are asked to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
