A 70-year-old man was been taken to hospital following a collision on a Sunderland street.
On Friday, June 3 at around 5.40pm, police received a report from the ambulance service of a collision involving a bus and a 70-year-old man on Fawcett Street in Sunderland.
The man was hospitalised, but his injuries are said to be 'non-life-threatening'. Officers are now investigating the crash.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At around 5.40pm on Friday (June 3) police received a report from the ambulance service of a collision involving a bus and a 70-year-old man on Fawcett Street in Sunderland.
“The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of our website or by calling 101 quoting log NP-20220603-0803.”
