A man inappropriately touched and tried to kiss a 14-year-old after being bailed for indecently treating three other girls.
Fabrice Albert is expected to be transferred from prison to immigration detention after being sentenced on Thursday to time behind bars.
The now 51-year-old was bailed after being charged in February 2022 for indecently touching girls including on their genitals while giving massages using baby oil.
Another girl woke to him touching her inappropriately.
Albert was charged with further offences after he touched a girl's breasts and tried to kiss her about a year after his release on bail.
He pleaded guilty in the Brisbane District Court on Thursday to five counts of indecent treatment of two girls aged 14 and five counts of the same offence perpetrated against two 11-year-olds.
Judge Michael Burnett sentenced him to three years and three months in jail over the "somewhat brazen" conduct.
The sentence was suspended from January 23 by which day Albert would have served 10 months and 10 days behind bars.
Albert was at risk of deportation as he had moved from overseas at the age of 13 but is not an Australian citizen, the court heard.
"It is my intention that he goes directly from corrective services to immigration detention," Judge Burnett said.
He gave authorities five days to liaise about Albert's transition from prison to immigration detention.
Judge Burnett ordered Albert's case return to the District Court for the sentence to be re-opened if he is not taken into immigration detention.
"I am acting on the basis that my expectation is that he will progress from (Corrective Services) custody into immigration custody and I will give the parties five days to organise that," he said.
If the transfer did not happen by Tuesday, Judge Burnett said he would re-open the sentencing and order Albert serve one third of the jail term before the remainder is suspended.
Judge Burnett ordered Albert be on probation for two years after his release from custody.
He is also on a five-year good behaviour bond effective from the day of the sentence.
If Albert is transferred to detention the immigration minister would decide whether he is allowed to remain in Australia.
