A man is fighting for his life after he started to feel unwell while at work.
Joe Ashley, from Huyton, suffered a bleed on the brain last week after falling ill at work. An ambulance was called and the 36-year-old was taken to Warrington Hospital but then transferred to The Walton Centre.
Speaking to the ECHO, Joe's sister Robyn Harrison said he has been in intensive care for 10 days and is currently in a critical condition. Joe has a six-year-old daughter Aurora and his wife Samantha is due to give birth to their second child, a baby boy, any day now.

Robyn told the ECHO the family are waiting to see if Joe responds to "anything at all" and that the type of stroke the dad suffered "can happen to anybody" and be brought on by anything.
The 31-year-old said it has been a huge shock to the family. She said: "It's really upsetting and I think it is because of the kids is the worst part of everything.
"He is just an amazing dad. I know everybody says that, but he really is and I think it is just so awful on his little girl, who is six. It's just awful for her but she doesn't know anything yet, she just thinks her dad is working away."
Robyn also said how her sister-in-law Samantha is trying to "keep her spirits up" for Joe and her children. She added: "Sammi is just amazing, she is so lovely and she is kind of trying to keep her spirits up.
"Even the staff have commented how lovely and friendly she is. But obviously she is distraught as well, but she is doing her best to keep positive like everybody is at the moment."
Joe's brother Ryan and sister Laura, as well as the rest of the family, are rallying around to help Joe, Samantha and their children. A JustGiving page has now been set up to help to take away financial stresses from the family, as Joe is self-employed and Samantha is on maternity leave.
Joe's brother-in-law John Hughes also asked for people to send the family their prayers. He added: "We just can't believe it to be honest. I know times are hard for people and even if they can't donate, even if they could say a little prayer.
"Give five minutes of their evening to pray for them."
