A man on his first holiday abroad was killed in a moped crash.
Kyle Barrow, 27, and his best friend Cal Junior, 24, flew to the Turkish resort of Antalya on Wednesday, June 7 and hired mopeds ahead of a planned “day of adventures” jet skiing and parasailing at the beach. Riding back to the hotel at lunchtime, they were moments from their destination when when Cal realised his pal was no longer behind him.
Cal found Kyle had crashed and was lying in the road. Speaking from Turkey, Cal said: “Kyle’s moped was on the side of the road. “I grabbed him, screaming, taking him on to the grass, as there were still cars going past. I held him, I was kissing him, screaming at him, with blood all over me.
